From Dec. 8 through 10, 2022, Roy and Edna Disney CalArts Theater (REDCAT), CalArts' center for contemporary arts in downtown Los Angeles, and Institute of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles (ICA LA) present Double Future, a double-bill performance by L.A. collaborative theatrical group My Barbarian (Malik Gaines, Jade Gordon, and Alexandro Segade).
REDCAT Announces Fall 2018 Calendar Of Premieres
REDCAT, CalArts' downtown center for contemporary arts, announces adventurous international and LA performances featured in the ambitious new Fall 2018 season at REDCAT, including stunning stagecraft and object theater from Rotterdam, the world premiere of a new dance and video work by LA company David Rousseve/Reality, a slyly funny and poignant collaboration by German/British collective Gob Squad with six LA performers, a hilarious political musical-theater project by art collective My Barbarian, and the return of Christiane Jatahy with a Brazilian take on Chekhov's Three Sisters, which uses genius film techniques.

NYU Skirball's 2018-19 season will open at midnight on September 8, 2018 with an all-night theater storytelling marathon from the U.K.'s acclaimed Forced Entertainment theater company, followed by their Complete Works: Table Top Shakespeare, adaptations of all 36 Shakespeare plays, starring everyday household objects.

MOAD MDC Presents: BRIDE OF THE WHITE WIDOW
Museum of Art and Design, Miami Dade College (MOAD MDC) is pleased to announce Bride of the White Widow, an interactive multimedia performance by the acclaimed art collective My Barbarian. Bride of the White Widow will take its audience on an outrageous musical journey through sea voyages, the Age of Exploration, colonialism, and global warming, complete with song, dance, participatory contests with prizes, and the group's trademark brand of piercing humor. Bride of the White Widow will have one performance at the Miami Light Project at The Light Box at Goldman Warehouse on January 20, 2018, at 8:00 PM.

The French Institute Alliance Francaise (FIAF), New York's premiere French cultural center, is thrilled to announce the full program for the Crossing the LineFestival 2016, the tenth annual edition of its celebrated fall arts festival, presenting interdisciplinary works and performances by artists from around the world. Crossing the Line runs from September 22 through November 3 in venues and public spaces throughout New York City. Tickets will go on saleAugust 15.

From today, June 25 to August 1, The Kitchen will present The Rehearsal, a group exhibition in which Courtesy the Artists, Discoteca Flaming Star and Georgia Sagri revisit an unreleased film by blacklisted, American film maker Jules Dassin. Filmed 40 years ago in the building that is now The Kitchen, Dassin's film, also tilted The Rehearsal, is a cinematic indictment of the Greek military junta (1967-74) and features Dassin, his wife, Greek actress Melina Mercouri, along with Laurence Olivier, Olympia Dukakis, Arthur Miller and Lillian Hellman, among others. For this exhibition, the artists will engage the themes, resonances and Brechtian structures of Dassin's work placing them in conversation with recent narratives of collective action for autonomy on the global stage.
