Miners Alley Playhouse's PUMP BOYS AND DINETTES Begins Today
The 'Pump Boys' sell high octane on Highway 57 in Grand Ole Opry country and the 'Dinettes', Prudie and Rhetta Cupp, run the Double Cupp diner next door. To look at it, you wouldn't know that this little stop on the highway is where all the action is, but when the boys get the guitars, piano, bass and, yes, kitchen utensils revved up, you won't want to be anywhere else. 'Pump Boys and Dinettes' is packed with highly entertaining toe-tappers such as 'Drinkin' Shoes,' 'Farmer Tan' and 'The Night Dolly Parton Was Almost Mine!'

BWW Reviews: NEXT TO NORMAL at Town Hall Arts Center
When you see a show at Town Hall Arts Center, you expect to be immersed in the production with such an intimate space. For a show with the emotional depth of Next to Normal, you're reminded just how necessary that can be.
Evergreen Players' ALL MY SONS Opens Tomorrow
During the war, Joe Keller and Herbert Deever ran a machine shop which made airplane parts. Deever was sent to prison because the firm turned out defective parts, causing the deaths of many men. Keller went free and made a lot of money. The twin shadows of this catastrophe and the fact that the young Keller son was reported missing during the war dominate the action. The love affair of Chris Keller and Ann Deever, the bitterness of George Deever returned from the war to find his father in prison and his father's partner free, are all set in a structure of almost unbearable power.
