Just yesterday, the Actors Fund officially renamed their Manhattan residence, "The Aurora," (West 57th and 10th Avenue) at a special ribbon cutting ceremony. The residence will now be called "The Dorothy Ross Friedman Residence." The Merchant's House was the first building designated a landmark in the Borough of Manhattan at the inaugural meeting of the Landmarks Preservation Commission in September 1965.
