Jacopo Rampini was born in Rome, Italy, and grew up in Paris, Milan, and San Francisco. He is currently residing in New York City. Jacopo's native languages are Italian and French, and he is fluent in English. He holds both Italian and U.S. Citizenship.
He attended Sorbonne University in Paris, and graduated with a double Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Literature. He trained in theatre at the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco, at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and the Stella Adler Studio in New York City.
After graduating, Jacopo worked at the Williamstown Theatre Festival in Sam Gold’s production of A Doll’s House starring Lily Rabe, Josh Hamilton, Lili Taylor, and Matthew Maher.
In New York City Jacopo has acted in a number of feature, short, and independent films that premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and the New York Film Festival. He has appeared in TV Shows such as Scorned and The Haunting Of, and has worked extensively with the NYU Tish Grad Film school and Columbia University’s Grad Film school.
Jacopo has been a member of the Kairos ItalyTheatre Company since 2012. He made his Off-Broadway debut in Jean Genet's The Balcony at the Access Theatre in 2013. His commercial work includes ads for Verizon Wireless, Puma, Perrier, and GDF Suez.
