Announcing REDCAT's 2017 NOW Festival Line Up
REDCAT, CalArts' downtown center for contemporary arts, announces the 14th annual New Original Works (NOW) Festival, a three-week celebration of Los Angeles' vibrant community of artists creating new contemporary performance works. This year's festival runs over three weekends: Thursday to Saturday, July 27-29, August 3-5 and August 10-12 at 8:30 pm. Each weekend premieres a triple bill, presenting a shared evening of dance, theater and multimedia work. Each program is premiered on Thursday evening and repeated Friday and Saturday evenings.
Circle Theatre presents Highly Anticipated Remount of TRIASSIC PARQ
After their resoundingly successful inaugural production of the cult favorite Triassic Parq in 2015, CIRCLE THEATRE is ecstatic to announce the highly-anticipated remount of the show. The production will run previews starting Friday, July 14 and opens for press Wednesday, July 19, running through Sunday, August 13. The performances will be returning to the original venue, Heartland Studio, in Rogers Park, 7016 N. Glenwood Ave and will run Thursdays - Saturdays at 8:00pm, with matinees both Saturdays and Sundays at 2:30pm and industry performances every Monday at 8:00pm. CIRCLE THEATRE has announced the full cast and creative team for it's Midwest-premiere production of the hit off-Broadway musical, Triassic Parq!
