Everyman Theatre Unveils The World of the Play Panel Discussions; Kicks Off 11/16

Everyman Theatre announces a new panel discussion series entitled "The World of the Play." Audiences are invited "behind the curtain" to explore the ideas underpinning the productions that you see on the Everyman stage. The panel series will be hosted by renowned radio personality Marc Steiner. Five panel discussions will occur throughout the remainder of the 2013/14 season; each one will take place on the second Saturday of each show's run, beginning at 5 PM.

TACT Announces Post-Show Discussion Series for NATURAL AFFECTION

TACT/The Actors Company Theatre (Scott Alan Evans, Cynthia Harris and Jenn Thompson, Co-Artistic Directors), the critically-acclaimed company 'dedicated to presenting neglected or rarely produced plays of literary merit,' and named '2012 Company of the Year' by Terry Teachout of The Wall Street Journal, have announced a series of post performance discussions to follow select performances of its production of Natural Affection by William Inge. Shakespeare Theatre Hosts Free Open Rehearsals for STRANGE INTERLUDE, March 17

If you've never had the opportunity to see a rehearsal of a play, Washington's Shakespeare Theatre Company is offering two free open rehearsals for Eugene O'Neill's Strange Interlude on Saturday, March 17 at 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. at Sidney Harman Hall.

Thornton Wilder?s Our Town will appear at Barnes & Noble Lincoln Center (1972 Broadway) on Friday afternoon, April 17th at 4:00 p.m. in celebration of the playwright?s 112th birthday. Messrs. Wilder, Cromer and cast members will read selected letters written by Wilder and scenes from Our Town followed by a ?Q&A? and book signing.
