ASCAP 'I Create Music' Expo Adds Oscar-Winning 'Shallow' Co-Writer
ASCAP has added leading music creators from the pop, country, EDM, Latin, hip-hop and video game music worlds to its 2019 'I Create Music' EXPO lineup. On the heels of his Oscar win for Best Original Song, 'Shallow' co-writer Anthony Rossomando will look back on his two-decade journey to co-penning the anthemic Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper mega-hit from A Star Is Born's original soundtrack. Grammy, CMA and ACM winner Lee Ann Womack will share the songs that have won her a dozen awards, including her breakout Billboard Country #1 'I Hope You Dance' and selections from her most recent album The Lonely, The Lonesome & The Gone, named a best-of-2018 by NPR and Rolling Stone.

Flute Link from the streets of New York City have created a magical night at Qatar Exhibition and Convention Center by teaming up with the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra, a member of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development, was founded in 2007 by Her Highness Sheikha Mozah bint Nasser Al Missned and currently under the direction of Kurt Meisner.
THT's Young Company to Attend THE SCHOOL FOR SCANDAL
The School For Scandal by restoration playwright Richard Brinsley Sheridan will be presented at THT August 22ndand 23rd at 7pm by THT's Young Company. This is the second Young Company production of the summer following on the heels of Annie. The comedy will be directed by THT's Education Director Lindsay Pontius and Kendra Gratton.

I just returned from Kristin Chenoweth's Broadway Bootcamp, my first. How did this happen? Well, it all happened in Kristin's Dressing Room, at the Lunt-Fontanne, when we were doing MY LOVE LETTER TO BROADWAY. Her 'bootcamp' for young, aspiring performers had already had two seasons and she was looking to really 'change it up.' The rest is history, as they say, and 'I' can say, in all honesty, that it was one of the greatest experiences I have ever had and those 43 kids and a handful of young interns, are in our hearts... forever.

Psyche Productions, LLC in association with Greenway Arts Alliance present the world premiere of, PSYCHE: A Modern Rock Opera, book, music and lyrics by Cindy Shapiro (based on the Greek myth of 'Psyche and Eros'), with musical direction by Jack Wall, choreography by Janet Roston and directed by Ovation Award-winner Michael Matthews. PSYCHE: A Modern Rock Opera will begin previews on Friday, August 22 and will open on Friday, August 29 at 8pm and run through Sunday, September 28 at the Greenway Court Theatre, 544 North Fairfax Avenue in Hollywood.
Al Pacino to Lead GLENGARRY GLEN ROSS Revival in 2012-13; Daniel Sullivan to Direct
AccordiNg to the New York Times, David Mamet's 1984 play Glengarry Glen Ross is heading back to Broadway, this time starring Al Pacino as leading man, 'Shelly "The Machine" Levene.' Pacino previously played 'Richard Roma' the the 1992 film adaptation of the Pulitzer Prize-winning play. Daniel Sullivan is attached to direct the project, which is set to open in the 2012-13 season.
