Jack Curtis Dubowsky Ensemble Perform Original Score To DR. JEKYLL & MR. HYDE at Art Theatre Today

Composer, musician, author and educator Jack Curtis Dubowsky is on a torrid run of activity in 2018 with scheduled performances, speaking engagements and several new compositions.  These include the Jack Curtis Dubowsky Ensemble (JCDE) performance at The Art Theatre Long Beach in May as well as a talk at the Voyager Institute, composing an original score to a film about an artistic iconoclast and composing a new music piece for ensemble to be performed at the Etchings Festival in France.

In the documentary film I Always Said Yes: The Many Lives Of Wakefield Poole audiences are given an inside look into the life of overlooked gay liberation and independent film pioneer, Wakefield Poole. Directed by Jim Tushinski and sponsored by the San Francisco Film Society, the film will screen at selected film festivals later this year and into 2014.
