45TH ANNUAL DAYTIME CREATIVE ARTS EMMY AWARDS Winners Announced

The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) today announced the winners of the 45th Annual Daytime Creative Arts Emmy Awards. The gala was held at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Pasadena, Southern California.

The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) announced last night, June 14, the winners of the 40th Annual Daytime Entertainment Creative Arts Emmy Awards in a sold-out, grand gala for over 1,100 attendees at the Westin Bonaventure, in downtown Los Angeles. Chris Jackson, Willie Reale Among Creative Arts Daytime Emmy Winners

Amongst the winners were several with Broadway backgrounds: Bill Sherman (composer) and Chris Jackson (lyricist) for Sesame Street's original song 'What I Am' and Willie Reale as a co-executive producer of The Electric Company on PBS.
2010 Daytime Emmy Awards Broadcast on CBS Today, 6/27

The Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards will be broadcast from Las Vegas for the first time on June 27th, 2010 over the CBS Television Network. 'It is with great pleasure that the Daytime Emmy Awards returns to the CBS Network,' said Herb Granath, Chairman, NATAS. 'The Daytime Emmy Awards are one of the cornerstones of our business and this year's Las Vegas-based broadcast promises to be even more exciting.'
