A proud Wyoming native, JC grew up in the small town of Rawlins where he was no stranger to the stage. He would frequently participate in local choirs, plays and musicals which planted in him a desire to perform professionally. He also enjoyed participating in athletics including; football, basketball and track. He attended the University of Wyoming and graduated with a vocal performance degree. While at UW, he was a member of the premiere a cappella group, The Happy Jacks. A favorite genre of his, a cappella music started his career in touring, including an international tour to China. After having careers in insurance and the oil fields, his passion for music and performing called him back and he moved to New York City where he was then cast as the title role in Andy Blankenbuehler's tour of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. He has also been seen Off-Broadway at St Lukes playing the Creature in Frankenstein: A New Musical. JC can currently be seen playing the pirate Rufus Davis in Marc Robin's Treasure Island at The Fulton Theatre. Favorite credits include: Curly (Oklahoma) Joe Gillis (Sunset Boulevard), Enjolras (Les Mis) & Sparky (Forever Plaid).
