Playwrights Horizons has launched a new literary magazine, Almanac. Established at a time of pandemic and protest, Almanac is a new kind of publication-one in which a theater and the artists who comprise it come together to take stock of contemporary American politics, culture, and playwriting.

The upcoming 2nd Annual Mammoth Film Festival is announcing its slate of World Premieres. This year's festival runs February 7-11, 2019 in the town of Mammoth Lakes, CA. Mammoth Film Festival will unleash the Jean-Claude Van Damme starrer WE DIE YOUNG as its Opening Night Gala World Premiere film on Thursday February 7. WE DIE YOUNG is an action thriller directed by Lior Geller (award winning short Roads) and stars Van Damme, David Castañeda (Sicario: Day of the Soldado, End of Watch), and Elijah Rodriguez (Sicario: Day of the Soldado, Book of Life). 2nd Annual Star-Studded Mammoth Film Festival Unveils Shorts & Episodics In First Round Of Official Selections

Announcing today the first round of Official Selections in Shorts and Episodics category for the upcoming 2nd Annual Mammoth Film Festival. Last year's inaugural festival drew headlines for being 'the biggest first year film festival ever organized' and this year's lineup and events aim to repeat and expand the momentum. The festival is expanding to 5 days and taking place February 7-11, 2019 in the town of Mammoth Lakes, CA. The festival's slate of World Premieres include feature films, short films, indie episodics, VR,  and a wide variety of documentaries. ABC to Launch First VR Ad on This Week's QUANTICO

ABC is today launching its first scripted virtual reality experience to coincide with the much anticipated midseason premiere of its hit drama 'Quantico,' which airs this SUNDAY, MARCH 6 (10:00-11:00 p.m. EST). Scripted by show writers, and in partnership with Lexus, the experience enables fans to delve 'in world' with the show, assuming the role of a new recruit on a mission with FBI trainees Shelby Wyatt (Johanna Braddy) and Caleb Haas (Graham Rogers) as they track down and apprehend their assigned target. Rosenberg, Managing Director) has announced a one-week extension of its critically-acclaimed, sold out New York premiere production of MILK LIKE SUGAR, a new play by Kirsten Greenidge, directed by Rebecca Taichman. Originally set to play a limited engagement through Sunday, November 20, the production extended through Sunday, November 27 at Playwrights Horizons' Peter Jay Sharp Theater (416 West 42nd Street). The additional week represents the only extension possible.
