The cast has been announced for Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds' much-anticipated upcoming production of The Children, alongside the previously announced Imogen Stubbs. Lucy Kirkwood's post-apocalyptic drama was hailed by The Guardian as one of the top three plays in their 'Best Theatre Shows of the 21st Century', following two retired nuclear scientists whose isolated life by the sea is disrupted by an old friend with a frightening request.
The Happy Days International Beckett Festival Celebrates its 10th Anniversary This Week
The Happy Days International Beckett Festival will be celebrating its 10th anniversary as it returns to Enniskillen this summer after a two year hiatus due to the pandemic. Presented by Arts Over Borders, the festival, which pays homage to Irish novelist, playwright and poet Samuel Beckett through arts and literary events based on his works and life, will run from Thursday, July 21 to Monday, July 25.

To celebrate the 100th anniversary of TS Eliot's masterpiece The Waste Land, the Eliot Estate has commissioned Doran Browne Arts Imagineers to curate f r a g m e n t s, a six day festival featuring multiple diverse performances in 22 unique and extraordinarily intimate late-medieval churches many just a short walk from each other across the City of London inspired by themes and images from the poem. Initial Casting Announced For The First Major Revival Of CLYBOURNE PARK
Having had to shut down the production of Bruce Norris' seminal play Clybourne Park at final dress rehearsal in March 2020, Trish Wadley Productions and David Adkin, in association with Park Theatre, have announced that the production, originally planned for the play's 10th anniversary year, will open at the venue in March.

Victoria Yeates Leads THE DOG WALKER At Jermyn Street Theatre
The cast has been announced for Jermyn Street Theatre's World premiere of The Dog Walker by Paul Minx this February. Victoria Yeates, who is best known for her portrayal of Sister Winifred in the BBC drama Call The Midwife, will be joined by Andrew Dennis, whose stage credits include One Man Two Guvnors at The National Theatre and Hotel Cerise at The Theatre Royal Stratford East, in this heartwarming comedy about loneliness and friendship in the big city.
The North Wall Announce Full Programme For Alchymy Festival 2019
The North Wall today announce the full programme for Alchymy Festival 2019, running from 12-14 April at The North Wall Arts Centre. The programme includes performances, industry events, work-in-progress showings, and workshops, as well as performances from winners of the inaugural Alchymy Company Award and Alchymy Writing Residencies. The festival was programmed by The North Wall co-directors John Hoggarth and Ria Parry, and producer Ellie Keel, and is supported by Arts Council England.
