Everyman Theatre will host its next installment of The World of the Play panel discussion series today, March 7 at 5PM (rescheduled from February 21 due to the snow storm). The powerful discussion entitled 'You Will Not Fight Your Battles On My Body Anymore' will be inspired by the themes of Lynn Nottage's Pulitzer Prize-winning drama Ruined, playing at Everyman now through March 8. The discussion will be hosted by radio personality Marc Steiner.

Everyman Theatre Welcomes New Managing Director
Susan W. Flanigan, President of Everyman Theatre's Board of Directors, has announced that Jonathan K. Waller has been named Managing Director of Everyman Theatre. He will transition from his current role as the theatre's Director of Marketing to Managing Director and begin officially in the new position on March 30, 2015. It was announced at the end of December that current Managing Director Ian Tresselt would depart in the spring to pursue a double Masters Degree in Design Leadership.
Everyman Theatre Announces Vivienne Shub Memorial Fund
Everyman Theatre has announced the new Vivienne Shub Memorial Fund for Education and Access to Theatre. The Fund was established in memory of Vivienne Shub, a member of Everyman Theatre's Resident Company who passed away in September at the age of 95. The Fund was announced at Everyman's Memorial for the legendary actress on Monday, September 20th.

Everyman Theatre has announced that on Monday, October 20th at 7pm, actors, directors, designers, family members, friends, and audience members will gather at Everyman to remember the incredible life and work of Resident Company Member Vivienne Shub, who passed away at her home in Edenwald Retirement Community on September 18th. She was 95 years old.
Everyman Theatre Begins Rehearsals for Theresa Rebeck's THE UNDERSTUDY
Everyman Theatre began rehearsals today for the 2014/15 season opener, The Understudy. Theresa Rebeck's comedic look into the backstage world of show biz runs from August 27th through September 28th. The three-person cast features Everyman Resident Company Members Clinton Brandhagen, Danny Gavigan and Beth Hylton. Joseph W. Ritsch makes his Everyman directorial debut with the production.

Everyman Theatre Announces ASL-Interpreted Performances of TRIBES
Everyman Theatre has announced that it will be performing five ASL-interpreted performances of Nina Raine's award-winning play Tribes. The theatre company will also be offering captioned performances for the first time. There will be two captioned performances during the run of the show. The Baltimore premiere is a hysterical and touching coming-of-age story about a young deaf man and his struggle for self-identity. The production will begin performances on May 27th (its Pay What You Can Performance) and will run through June 22nd.
