BIO
With an entertainment career that spans more than 30 years, Ian Knowles is a dancer, choreographer, teacher and artistic director with outstanding career achievements to his name. His work has taken him from one corner of the world to another, working as a cast member, director or choreographer for high-profile productions.
His theatre credits include ‘Anything Goes’, ‘West Side Story’, ‘Fiddler on the Roof’ and ‘My Fair Lady’.
His choreography credits include “Bali Agung – Legend Of A Goddess” which is still performing in Bali and with over 2000 show, “Colours Of Malaysia” Opening Ceremony 2009, “Sound Of Music” 2008, Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games (Assistant Choreographer Ceremonies) and more. He was thrilled to asked to become the Artistic Director of the Full-Time dance course at The Space Dance and Arts Centre, giving him the skills to take the next step in his career.
He is currently the co-founder Inspired Dance Film Fest Australia.

Inspired Dance Film Fest Australia is a nationwide dance on film festival, providing a platform for dancers, choreographers, and filmmakers to explore their creativity on film. The Festival is a fusion of dance and film, combining the two genres of artistic expression to showcase choreography in a short film format. Whilst the focus is on nurturing Australian talent, International submissions are also included.
