Ian Kahn to Lead Reading of Jason Odell Williams' New Play CHURCH & STATE
Lead producer Charlotte Cohn will present a staged reading of Jason Odell Williams' new play, Church & State, for one night only on Monday, April 4th at 7pm at The Cell Theatre (338 W 23rd Street). Proceeds from the reading will benefit Sandy Hook Promise. Ian Kahn ("George Washington" on AMC's Turn, Hard Love, Enron) will lead the cast, which also includes Beth Hylton, Judy Jerome, and Andy Talen. Gregg Wiggans directs (TV's Smash). AMC Sets Premiere Dates for FEAR THE WALKING Season 2 & More
AMC announced today from the Television Critics Association (TCA) Press Tour the network's 2016 spring premiere dates for new and returning original series. For the first time ever, AMC will launch a fourth night of original programming on Tuesdays beginning this April with the debut of the highly anticipated miniseries event “The Night Manager.” Last year, AMC became home to the top four cable series launches of all time among adults 18-49 in live+3 ratings, with “Fear the Walking Dead” at #1, “Better Call Saul” at #2, “Into the Badlands” at #3 and “The Walking Dead” at #4.

TACT/The Actors Company Theatre presents the Off Broadway premiere of HARD LOVE, the searing 2003 play by Israeli playwright Motti Lerner. This first play of the 2015/16 season -- the company's 23rd -- is directed by TACT Artistic & Executive Director Scott Alan Evans, who most recently directed Beyond Therapy by Christopher Durang. The show is currently playing at Theatre Row's Beckett Theatre. The play celebrated its opening last night, October 11th, and performances continue through October 31, 2015. AMC Renews TURN: WASHINGTON'S SPIES for Third Season
AMC today announced that “TURN: Washington's Spies” has been renewed for a third season of 10 episodes to air in 2016. The Revolutionary War period drama delivered an average of 1.6 million viewers in its second season and helped open up a new night of original programming for AMC on Monday, along with “Better Call Saul” and “The Making of The Mob: New York.”
AMC Sets Return Date for TURN: WASHINGTON'S SPIES
AMC announced today that the network's historical spy drama “TURN: Washington's Spies” will shift to Monday nights for its second season and premiere on Monday, April 13 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT with a special two-hour episode. The series will then move to Monday at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT for the remainder of the season. The move continues the network's original programming expansion into Monday nights that began earlier this month with the premiere of “Better Call Saul.”
