BIO

Ian Ferguson is a professional actor and musician who has been living and working in the Dallas area since 2010. There Ian has appeared on professional stages across DFW. Selected credits include: "Once," "Self Injurious Behavior," (Theatre Three); "Hood," (The Dallas Theater Center); "The Gospel According to Thomas Jefferson, Charles Dickens and Count Leo Tolstoy: Discord," "The Lieutenant of Inishmore," (Water Tower Theatre); "Pompeii!!," (Kitchen Dog Theatre); "A Kid Like Jake," "Bull," (Second Thought Theatre); "Mr. Burns: a post electric play," (Stage West); and more.

Ian wrote the music and lyrics for the new musical, "The Manufactured Myth of Eveline Flynn," book by Michael Federico from a story they co-wrote.
As a musician, Ian has written original compositions for stage productions with Shakespeare Dallas, Theatre Three, Gonzaga University, Oklahoma City Repertory Theatre, Echo Theatre, and the Sybil B. Harrington Theatre.
Ian plays his original rock music along with his wife in their band, Veteran Children. He also plays guitar and keys with Dallas-based bands Sister and Mur.
Ian is a proud member of Actors' Equity Association (since 2015), and is represented by the Kim Dawson Talent Agency.

Co-directed by Emily Ernst (recent graduate of Ecole Internationale de Theatre Jacques Lecoq and Associate Director of Flatwater Shakespeare Company), Joshua L. Peugh (Founder and Artistic Director of Dark Circles Contemporary Dance), and Baltimore-based actor Chris Rutherford, the play will be presented by Fair Assemblya?"the trio's newly formed ensemble led theatre companya?"in the intimate Sanctuary space at Arts Mission Oak Cliff.
