Marking a return to live theater after a 20 month hiatus, Bergen County Players , one of America's longest-running little theater companies, has announced that its doors will reopen beginning November 20 with the rousing musical revue, A GRAND NIGHT FOR SINGING: A CELEBRATION OF RODGERS & HAMMERSTEIN.
Bergen County Players to Present RELATIVELY SPEAKING
The Bergen County Players will be presenting the first two one-act plays in the laugh-out-loud trilogy Relatively Speaking for two performances only, at 2 pm on Saturday, January 27th and 7 pm on Sunday January 28th. Performances will take place at The Little Firehouse Theatre, 298 Kinderkamanck Road in Oradell. Bergen County Players Presents STANDING ON CEREMONY THE GAY MARRIAGE PLAYS
Bergen County Players (BCP) concludes its 84th season with a staged reading of Standing on Ceremony: The Gay Marriage Plays. Conceived by BCP alum Brian Shnipper and directed by Mark Rinis, this anthology of monologues and short plays began as a series of benefit events in Los Angeles, taking on a life of their own as an inspiring theatrical evening. The show will only run two nights, June 10 and 11 at the Little Firehouse Theatre, 298 Kinderkamack Road in Oradell. Bergen County Players (BCP) continues its 84th season with Night Watch, an ingeniously devised thriller written by Lucille Fletcher, opening March 25th, 2017. Bergen County Players to Present AN EVENING OF ONE ACT PLAYS, 6/4-5
Bergen County Players, winner of NJACT's 2015 Community Theatre of the Year and located at the Little Firehouse Theatre, 298 Kinderkamack Road in Oradell, will present 'An Evening of One Act Plays', written by past and current members of BCP and directed by Frank Osmers, for a limited run on June 4 and June 5. Bergen County Players continues its 'From Page to Stage' season with Christopher Sergel's adaptation of Harper Lee's Pulitzer Prize-winning landmark American classic 'To Kill a Mockingbird' beginning Saturday, March 22nd and concluding Saturday, April 12th. This timeless tale of innocence and tolerance follows the journey of a young white girl whose father has been appointed to defend a black man framed for a crime he claims he did not commit. Performed at the Little Firehouse Theatre in Oradell, the drama provides a poignant look at justice and the human spirit, as told through the eyes of a young girl learning the mysteries and realities of adulthood. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 pm ($20) and Sundays at 2:00 pm ($16).
