BIO
HOWARD GREEN appeared as Botvinnik in the Cape May Stage production of A Walk In The Woods. He appeared in Broadway Bound at The Old Globe in San Diego. In addition, he has been seen in Richard III and the Henry VI cycle (New York Shakespeare Festival), The Ceremony of Innocence (American Place Theatre), The Silent Partner (The Actor’s Studio), Cyrano de Bergerac (Lincoln Center Theater), Troilus and Cressida and The Winter’s Tale (Washington Shakespeare Festival), Family Business (Berkshire Theatre Festival), The Poison Tree (Philadelphia Playhouse in the Park), Waiting for Godot (Theatre at St. Clement’s), The Comedy of Errors (Shakespeare on the Sound) and Imagining Madoff (Stageworks on the Hudson). He was a founding member of the Counterpoint Theatre Company in New York City, appearing in Awake and Sing, Rocket to the Moon and Uncle Vanya. His television credits include “Paradise Lost” and “The Ceremony of Innocence” (PBS).

The Lie is written and directed by Veena Sud, and stars Mireille Enos (The Killing), Peter Sarsgaard (An Education) and Joey King (The Kissing Booth 2, The Act). When their teenaged daughter confesses to impulsively killing her best friend, two desperate parents attempt to cover up the horrific crime, leading them into a complicated web of lies and deception. Produced by Alix Madigan-Yorkin, Christopher Tricarico, and Jason Blum. Executive produced by Howard Green, Kim Hodgert, Jeanette Volturno, Couper Samuelson and Aaron Barnett.

It is always interesting to hear how people first get involved in the theatre. Many feel that pull as children, others discover it in high school. Still others try it as adults and get "the bug." Howard Green had his opportunity in high school, but said, "No, thank you!" Green made up for that 'error' later on in his life and now enjoys every opportunity he gets to be a part of of the theatre community.
