BIO

A native of Cape Cod, MA, Holly has worked as a performer, writer, director, designer and educator, throughout the region. Her performance troupe, Theater Under the Stairs, has produced 7 seasons of a wide range of plays including classics like Beckett and Pinter, and new works for - and performed by - children. Holly has written or adapted six family friendly comedies, and one rhyming children's book and she is currently working on her 7th play and 2nd book. Holly earned her degree in Acting and Writing from Plymouth State University.

Cape Rep Theatre Announces Summer Shows For Children

Summer starts at Cape Rep's Outdoor Theater on June 26th with our Summer Children's Show Series. On Tuesdays & Thursdays from June 26 through August 30, Cape Rep Theatre presents the hit musical HOW I BECAME A PIRATE, book, music and lyrics by Janet Yates Vogt and Mark Friedman, based on the popular children's book How I Became a Pirate by Melinda Long with illustrations by David Shannon, directed by Holly Erin McCarthy and musical direction by Ben Colgan. Tickets are $12 and general admission.
Cape Rep Theatre Announces 2018 Season

Cape Rep Theatre is celebrating its 33rd season with an exciting line up of plays and musicals, all of them Cape Cod premieres, and one world premiere by a local playwright. The Indoor Theater season will open May 9th with the George Furth and Stephen Sondheim musical Merrily We Roll Along, followed by the world premiere production of The Tuna Goddess, by local theater artist, Jade Schuyler. Next up is the Broadway sensation, Mamma Mia!, music by the beloved super group ABBA and book by Catherine Johnson, followed by the 5-time Tony Award winning Fun Home, book and lyrics by Lisa Kron, music by Jeanine Tesori, based on the graphic novel by Alison Bechdel. The season will close with the Cape Cod premiere of Shakespeare in Love, based on the screenplay by Marc Norman and Tom Stoppard, adapted for the stage by Lee Hall.
Tilden Arts Center To Present URINETOWN: THE MUSICAL

The Tilden Arts Center at Cape Cod Community College will present Mark Hollman and Greg Kotis's "Urinetown: The Musical," winner of three Tony Awards. Evening performances will take place at 7:30 p.m. on April 5, 6, 7, 13, 14, 20 and 21. Matinees will be offered at 2 p.m. on April 7, 14 and 21. All performances will be held on the Main Stage of the Tilden Arts Center.
