Ed Koch to Participate in Q&A Following 1/13 Screening of KOCH
Koch (US, 2012, 95 min.) will receive its New York City premiere at the New York Jewish Film Festival at Lincoln Center's Walter Reade Theater on Thursday, January 10 at 6 pm and Sunday, January 13 at 3:30 pm. Ed Koch will participate in the Q&A session following the January 13 screening. Neil Barsky, director of the film, will appear at the Q&A session after the January 10 screening. The 22nd annual New York Jewish Film Festival, presented by The Jewish Museum and the Film Society of Lincoln Center from January 9 to 24, 2013, includes 45 features and shorts from 9 countries.

FSLC's 22nd Annual New York Jewish Film Festival to Run 1/9-1/24
The Jewish Museum and the Film Society of Lincoln Center will present the 22nd annual New York Jewish Film Festival at the Film Society's Walter Reade Theater, Jan. 9-24, 2013. The festival's 45 features and shorts from 9 countries - 23 screening in their world, U.S. or New York premieres - provide a diverse global perspective on the Jewish experience. Many film screenings will be followed by filmmakers and special guests in onstage discussions.
Pearly Gates Playground Re-Opens as Model of 21st Century Sustainable Design 9/25
Parks & Recreation Commissioner Adrian Benepe today joined City Council Member James Vacca, Assembly Member Michael Benedetto, Representative to the Bronx Borough President Wilhelm Ronda, members of Community Board 10 and the Westchester Square / Zurega Improvement District, and neighborhood children to cut the ribbon on nearly $2 million in improvements to Pearly Gates Playground. The park is located at St. Peters and Tratman Avenues in the Bronx.
