New York - Times Square Arts has announced that The Office for Creative Research is the winner of this year's annual Times Square Valentine Heart Design Competition, curated by the Urban Design Forum. Over the last nine years, the Times Square Alliance has invited architecture and design firms to submit proposals for a romantic public art installation celebrating Valentine's Day in Times Square. This year's winning design, We Were Strangers Once Too, will be unveiled on February 7, and remain on view for approximately one month at Father Duffy Square, between 46th and 47th Streets and a few feet away from TKTS and the Red Steps.
John Cariani's LOVE / SICK Begins Next Month at Royal Family Performing Arts Space
Almost Maine is one of the countries most produced plays, this February; Royal Family Productions (Katie Avebe, Mary Bernardi, Chris Henry and Andy Theodorou, Founders) will present the New York premiere of John Cariani's follow-up play LOVE / SICK. Directed by Chris Henry and featuring choreography by JoAnn M.
