This Christmas season, check into the Snowflake Inn while Dashing Through the Snow, a crazy Christmas comedy, opens December 11 at the Apollo Civic Theatre!
Directed by Jeff Wine, Dashing Through the Snow takes place four days before Christmas, in a tiny town in Texas, where a colorful array of characters check in to the Snowflake Inn. Varying scenes tell the different holiday stories of all the crazy characters. A brother and sister attempt to end a holiday feud between their aunts. Self-absorbed actors from a low budget "Christmas Carol" production return to the inn to fulfill a promise, while Mrs. Clause and one of Santa's elves attempt a romantic rendezvous right before Christmas Eve!

Directed by Jeff Wine, The Abduction is a modern-day thriller featuring an average American family. After celebrating her parents' anniversary dinner, Cindy Grant is forced off the road while driving back to her college during a thunderstorm and abducted by a mysterious stranger. Her parents, Allen and Shelia, desperately struggle to raise the ransom by the criminal's deadline and Cindy's boyfriend goes off to search for her, all while they continue to receive chilling cell phone calls from Cindy and her abductor.
Brat Productions Hosts Poe-Themed Event At Laurel Hill Cemetery Aug. 20
In preparation of the world premiere of their Edgar Allan Poe-based production Haunted Poe (October 1 - November 1, 2009), Brat Productions will host a walking tour through Laurel Hill Cemetery (3822 Ridge Avenue) on August 20 at dusk. The 'candle lit' tour (bring your own flashlight) of the grounds will explore Poe literature, anecdotes and his life in Philadelphia. The event is free but space is limited.
