Opera Orlando Reveals New Development Manager, Glorivy Arroyo

Coming off Opera Orlando’s most successful year to date, the Company is pleased to announce the hiring of a new staff position this month. The Opera welcomes Glorivy Arroyo as its new development manager. Ms. Arroyo will work under senior development director Russell P. Allen and will focus on grant writing, donor cultivation, special events, and the Company’s annual giving campaign.

Opera Orlando's annual gala and season celebration is finally here after two years of postponements. Viva L'Opera! at The Alfond Inn at Rollins on May 21, 2022, will be the party of the year and a feast for the senses, combining culinary art and opera from around the world. American Ballet Theatre's WHIPPED CREAM At The Auditorium Theatre

American Ballet Theatre (ABT), America's National Ballet Company, brings the Chicago premiere of its new story ballet Whipped Cream to the Auditorium Theatre April 11-14. Whipped Cream features choreography by ABT Artist in Residence Alexei Ratmansky, sensational sets and stunning costumes by pop-surrealist artist Mark Ryden, and a revived 1924 score by composer Richard Strauss (performed by the Chicago Philharmonic).

Auditorium Theatre Celebrates 50th Anniversary Of Grand Re-Opening At Annual Fall Gala

On November 12, 2017, the Auditorium Theatre held its Annual Fall Gala, honoring Sonia Florian of the NIB Foundation with the second annual Adler and Sullivan Award. Guests attended a cocktail reception and dinner at the Standard Club before proceeding to the theatre for A Golden Celebration of Dance, a performance honoring the 50th anniversary of the theatre's grand re-opening in 1967. The performance featured dancers from Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, American Ballet Theatre, Ballet West, Berlin State Ballet, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, The Joffrey Ballet, MOMIX, New York City Ballet, Parsons Dance, The Suzanne Farrell Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, Vienna State Ballet, and The Washington Ballet.
