BWW Review: A Truly ENCHANTED EVENING at Winter Park Playhouse
If you took almost all your favorite Rodgers and Hammerstein songs and put them together into one two hour playlist you'd have SOME ENCHANTED EVENING at Winter Park Playhouse. This combination of hit songs performed by some of Orlando's best voices make for a thoroughly enjoyable night. It's like a Rodgers and Hammerstein playlist without commercials.

BWW Review: WHY DO FOOLS FALL IN LOVE Delights Audiences at Winter Park Playhouse
'Why Do Fools Fall in Love?' takes us back to the year 1966 to our protagonist, Millie's impromptu bachelorette party thrown by her friends Sally, Florence, and Dee Dee (who tags along, but is quickly adopted into the friend group). The evening kicks off with alcohol, gossip, alcohol, junk food, and oh, did I mention? More alcohol. Trouble begins to arise in paradise when Sally reveals that she sent Millie an anonymous note with some troubling news regarding her fiance. Hilarity, arguing, and lots and lots of singing ensues, and we are left with a strong impression of the 'sisters before misters' mantra. That is, guys will come and go, but best friends last forever.
BWW Review: Mad Cow's THE SECRET GARDEN is Bleak, Uninspired Adaptation
Frances Hodgson Burnett's beloved novel THE SECRET GARDEN has been thrilling the imaginations of readers young and old since 1911, and in 1991 Marsha Norman and Lucy Simon's musical adaptation won three Tony Awards, bringing the classic story to life in a brand new way. Their musical, which is playing at Orlando's Mad Cow Theatre through December 20th, thrived on Broadway, and regionally ever since, because of its soaring music, life-affirming story, and the creativity that its magical world allows. Unfortunately, directed by Aradhana Tiwari, Mad Cow's production squanders a universally talented cast on a bleak and bland vision that lacks the magic and imagination that the story, on both page and stage, has inspired for over a century.
Mad Cow Theatre Presents THE SECRET GARDEN
Mad Cow Theatre is delighted to announce the cast and creative team for the poignant musical The Secret Garden, with book and lyrics by Marsha Norman and music by Lucy Simon, based on the 1911 classic novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett. The Secret Garden will open Nov. 20, 2015 in the Harriett Theatre at Mad Cow Theatre in downtown Orlando.
