First Off-Broadway Production of CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF to Open This July

Cat On A Hot Tin Roof, in a new production by Ruth Stage, will play The Theater at St. Clements (423 W. 46th Street) beginning previews July 15, and opening night is set for July 24. The original scheduled run of this production, which had been announced for January, 2022, was postponed due to the ongoing health crisis.

Indian Wells Resort Hotel is excited to debut Broadway's Best in October, presenting an evening of enchanting entertainment with acclaimed performers Patricia Welch and Terri Olsen, along with musical director and pianist Alex Danson. Together they perform a selection of timeless Broadway show stoppers, solos and duets, while adorning fanciful costumes. The production will be staged in MTC's 99-seat Lieberman Theatre. From one of America's hottest young playwrights comes a riveting story of a young woman's desperate search for her past. Seventeen year-old Allegra is beginning to piece together the swirling memories of her early years in the beautiful woods of Northern California on a mystical commune called Magic Forest Farm. Mixing with joyous recollections of waterfalls and wildflowers are darker revelations and startling images of the people she thinks she trusts most. A journey begins that takes Allegra back to the commune, back to the past, to confront the truth.
