BWW Interview: Perennial Film & TV Actor C. Thomas Howell Making His Theatrical Debut in WORST-CASE SCENARIO
After 46 years of steady work in front of film and television cameras, C. Thomas Howell will be making his theatrical debut in the world premiere of D.M. Conte's WORST-CASE SCENARIO at the Hudson Comedy Central Backstage Theatre beginning (hopefully) April 2020. Since Thomas made his first screen appearance in Steven Spielberg 1982's phenomenon E.T, The Extra Terrestrial at the ripe young age of 15, Thomas has been working steadily, exhibiting his acting chops in over two hundred shows, including Francis Coppola's cult favorite The Outsider, and in numerous television series and films. Thomas managed to carve out some time to answer some of my inquisitive queries.

At San Diego Comic-Con, Sir Patrick Stewart treated 'Star Trek' fans attending the 'Star Trek' Universe panel to the first trailer for STAR TREK: PICARD and shocked the audience by bringing out surprise guests and 'Star Trek' icons Brent Spiner, Jeri Ryan and Jonathan Del Arco, announcing they will be appearing in STAR TREK: PICARD. In addition to the surprise guests, it was revealed that 'Star Trek's' Jonathan Frakes and Marina Sirtis will make appearances in the new series as well. During the panel, it was also announced that STAR TREK: PICARD will premiere in early 2020 exclusively on CBS All Access in the U.S.
Michael Chabon Announced as Showrunner of STAR TREK: PICARD
Pulitzer Prize-winning author Michael Chabon has been named Showrunner of the upcoming STAR TREK: PICARD series. Chabon is working closely on the day-to-day production of the series with Academy Award winner and veteran 'Star Trek' writer and producer Akiva Goldsman, and Alex Kurtzman, who continues to oversee the expansion of the growing 'Star Trek' universe for CBS Studios.
Alison Pill, Harry Treadaway And Isa Briones Join Untitled STAR TREK Jean-Luc Picard Series
CBS All Access announced today that Alison Pill ('The Newsroom'), Harry Treadaway ('Penny Dreadful') and Isa Briones ('American Crime Story: Versace') were cast as series regulars alongside Sir Patrick Stewart in its upcoming untitled 'Star Trek' series that will explore the next chapter of Jean-Luc Picard. They join previously announced cast members Santiago Cabrera, Michelle Hurd and Evan Evagora.
