Selecting a Ghost, a site-specific show at the Stanely Arts Centre, is based on the Arthur Conan Doyle short story of the same name, in which Silas and Matilda D’Odds of Goresthorpe Grange decide that they want a ghost to find its resting place in their new home. Audience members have been welcomed to the home of the D’Odds to learn more about their hunt for a haunt in this promenade-style performance.

The show explores how a palaeontologist, Dr. Jakob Vinther, used melanin to discover what the colours of dinosaurs actually were.

Based on the novel by C. S. Lewis and directed by Sally Cookson, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe will have its first performance at the Bridge Theatre on 9 November 2019. Today (16 October 2019) rehearsal images are released on the 69th anniversary of the publication of the novel. Opening night is on 18 November and the production runs until 2 February 2020.
