The eleventh season of New York Theatre Barn's New Works Series launches on Monday, February 5th, 2018 with pre-premieres of 2 new musicals: Crossing Over and Alice, Wendy, Dorothy. Theatre Barn's eleventh season will explore 'Foreign Cultures and Fractured Fairy Tales.' Casting for both shows is by Eisenberg/Beans Casting (Daryl Eisenberg,CSA; Ally Beans, CSA).

BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida and Footloose) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano. This Thursday night, February 9th , Broadway Sessions puts the spotlight on Whole Artist Management and more -. Whole Artist Management clients schedule to perform include Hett Banrhill (Spider-Man), Andrew Aaron Berlin (A Christmas Story), Kennedy Caughell (Great Comet), Hannah DeFlumeri (Bullets Over Broadway), Alexa Green (Wicked), Amy Linden (Bridges of Madison County), Emily McNamara (Newsical), Kyle Taylor Parker (Kinky Boots, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory), Monica Ramirez, Brian Charles Rooney (Three Penny Opera), Sheri Sanders (Rock the Audition), Samantha Shafer (Rocky), Christopher Timson (Young Frankenstein), Lily Tobin, Clyde Voce (Rock of Ages), Brit West (The Color Purple), Andrew Wheeler and Noah Zachary. - The evening will also feature performance from the upcoming Broadway Au Carre concert. featuring the music from Dana Levinson's 5th Republic sung by Lisandro Nesis and Manon Taris -Whole Artist Management is comprised of managers Rich Martino and Mike Cruz. Broadway Sessions takes place every Thursday evening at The Laurie Beechman Theater inside The West Bank Cafe located at 407 west 42nd street (corner of 42nd street and 9th avenue). On Friday, March 6, noted arranger Fred Barton will bring the music of Broadway and the American Songbook showmanship to the Schimmel Center at Pace University in American Showstoppers: An Evening of Irving Berlin. Hailed by George Gershwin as 'the greatest songwriter that has ever lived,' the legendary Irving Berlin composed some of the most influential and widely-known songs ever written, many of which have come to form the Great American Songbook. Fred Barton now brings the power of Berlin's Broadway sound front and center, with a hot 14-piece orchestra and a cast of 17 Broadway singers and dancers, and direction and choreography by Jason Wise.

Newcomer Nikki Bohne will star in a new tour of the Tony-nominated LEGALLY BLONDE THE MUSICAL launching today in Jackson, Mississippi. Bohne, a recent graduate of Brigham Young University, will play the role originated in the film by Reese Witherspoon, and onstage by Tony nomiee Laura Bell Bundy. Bohne's regional credits include Aida (Amneris) and West Side Story (Anybodys) both at the Hale Center Theatre, Footloose (Rusty) and Annie Get Your Gun (Annie), both at the Playmill Theatre.
