Review: DRACULA at Castle Craig Players
On Saturday, October 26th, I had the pleasure of seeing yet another first rate production put on by the Castle Craig Players at the Almira F. Stephan Memorial Playhouse in Meriden, CT. Bram Stoker’s DRACULA is brought to life on stage, through the adaptation by Hamilton Deane & John L. Balderston. The brilliant direction of Stephen Amato brings out the best in this stellar cast that includes Erin Aldrich, Timothy Barton, Sara Courtemanche, Griffin Kulp, Meghan Magner, Tullio Milani, Bill Rodman, and Mike Zimmerman, all who excel in their respective roles, as individuals, and as a collective group!

Review: DRACULA at Elmwood Playhouse
What did our critic think of DRACULA at Elmwood Playhouse?Set in England in 1914, the overall look of the show is nicely evoked by Set Designer, Rob Ward; Seward’s office in the Sanatorium, Lucy’s Bedroom and Dracula’s lair are all effective and opulent. Janet Fenton’s costumes capture the period, and are a wonder to behold. The entire crew, led by stage managers Nancy Logan and Kathy Simpson, excels in propelling the story with their technical precision. @elmwoodplayhous

Long Beach Playhouse Mainstage Season Opens with DRACULA
'The last I saw of Count Dracula was...a red light of triumph in his eyes' Dracula at the Long Beach Playhouse Sept. 23 - Oct. 21, 2017 Long Beach, CA. As autumn begins our thoughts turn to the holiday most revered by children and by adults who refuse to grow up: Halloween. And what is Halloween without the infamously lusty and bloodsucking Count Dracula? The classic story unfolds as we watch Lucy Seward succumb to a mysterious illness which is draining her life force, her father and his long-time associate, Dr. Van Helsing hunt the true cause of her malady, a vampire stalking London. Watch the chase as the undead terrify the countryside. Will the virtuous triumph or will Dracula succeed in spreading the curse of the Nosferatu?
