BWW Review: TWELFTH NIGHT at The Old Globe
Mischief and mayhem are always a solid base for a comedy, and TWELFTH NIGHT at The Old Globe through November 10th offers plenty of laughs, with a side helping of lords and ladies looking for love that makes for a very enjoyable night at the theatre.

Cast and Creatives Announced For ROMEO AND JULIET at The Old Globe
As The Old Globe's 2019 Summer Shakespeare Festival continues, the theatre today announced the cast and creative team of the love-filled tragedy Romeo and Juliet. The Globe's Erna Finci Viterbi Artistic Director Barry Edelstein returns to direct the greatest love story of all time, after helming a smash-hit production of Othello and a sales-record-breaking production of Hamlet. Performances will run August 11 - September 15 outdoors under the stars in the Globe's Lowell Davies Festival Theatre. Tickets start at $30.00 and are on sale to the general public now. Previews run August 11-16, with opening night on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at 8:00 p.m.

Director Jessica Stone's recent body of work-including Barefoot in the Park, Ken Ludwig's Robin Hood!, Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, and Arms and the Man-has had Globe audiences rolling in the aisles. Polarity Ensemble Theatre Presents Shakespeare's A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM
Polarity Ensemble Theatre presents an innovative interpretation of Shakespeare's A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM, the bard's most popular comedy. Director Ann Keen sets the production in an America of the early 1960's, a time of distinctive transition in our culture, as music, morality, and racial relations began a revolution. Like Ann's HAMLET (which won Polarity the honor of Best Emerging Theatre Company from the Chicago Reader) and her A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE, this production will be infused with music. BWW Review: Sixth Annual Rep Lab Delivers Love for Accomplished Emerging Theater Residents
No stranger to acclaimed success, the Sixth Season of Milwaukee Rep Lab produced a fabulous evening of eight short plays in the Stiemke Studio. Fifteen to twenty gifted Emerging Professional Residents (EPR) enraptured the audience with their primarily comic offerings interspersed with several poignant themed stories--and the audience responded with a standing ovation.
Susan Lieberman's NETTA AT NINETY Set for Raven's New Play Development Series, 2/23-25
Noted Chicago playwright Susan Lieberman will join Raven Theatre's [Working Title] new play development series with a fully staged workshop production of her play Netta at Ninety, to be directed by Michael Ryczek and performed on the Raven Theatre East Stage Monday, February 23 through Wednesday, February 25. Curtain times for all three performances will be 7:30 pm.

Arthur Miller's intense drama, raising questions of morality and the limits of family ties, promises to be a special opening production for Raven's 2014-2015 season. Headlining the cast will be Chuck Spencer and JoAnn Montemurro as Joe and Kate Keller. These two Raven ensemble members, who earned accolades for their work as Willy and Linda Loman in Miller's Death of a Salesman and as Victor and Esther Franz in his The Price, will play Joe and Kate Keller. Raven first produced All My Sons in 1990 and they appeared in that production as well, playing George Deever and Ann Deever.

Ithaca College Theatre Presents MEASURE FOR MEASURE, 4/24-29
Finishing Ithaca College Theatre's 2011-2012 main-stage season is William Shakespeare's "Measure for Measure.". Performances will run in the Hoerner Theatre in Dillingham Center on April 24, 26, 27, and 28 at 8 p.m. and 2pm matinee performances on April 28 and 29. There will be a free talk-back presentation following the April 28th matinee performance.
