Israel Philharmonic Orchestra Announces 2021-22 Season
The programs this year will be diverse, some featuring popular and well-loved works, some intriguing and exciting, and some combining both. The first program will feature Stravinsky’s famous ballet, The Rite of Spring, together with a work by Noam Sheriff, whose early compositions were influenced by Stravinsky, and who was also the first Israeli composer to be performed at Heichal Hatarbut.

BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! Festival is pleased to present a free performance by the world-renowned and ever-creative dance company, Pilobolus, on Thursday, July 6. REMEMBERING THEO - a Memorial Concert for Theordore Bikel
Actor, vocalist and activist Theodore Bikel died July 21, 2015 at age 91 in Los Angeles. He will be remembered in a memorial concert in New York City, titled 'Remembering Theo - an evening of music, laughter and love,' September 27 in The Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College (68th Street between Park and Lexington Ave.). The evening will feature musical performances by many of Bikel's friends and treasured colleagues.

Pilobolus Dance Theater Sets Summer Season at The Joyce Theater
Dance lovers and theater lovers alike have come to celebrate the summer tradition of Pilobolus Dance Theater at The Joyce Theater, and this year will be no exception. For its annual four-week season, from July 15 - August 10, the awe-inspiring movement company, internationally renowned for its ingeniously intricate and athletically creative collaborations, will present two different programs, each featuring a New York premiere. Maya Beiser Brings ELSEWHERE to BAM Next Wave Festival This October
Cellist Maya Beiser will see the New York premiere of her new production, ELSEWHERE, a "CelloOpera," in four performances from October 17 through 20 at 7:30pm, during the 2012 BAM Next Wave Festival in the inaugural season of the Fishman Space, part of BAM's new Richard B. Fischer Building which opens in September 2012 at 321 Ashland Place in Brooklyn. ELSEWHERE is produced by Beth Morrison Projects.
