Griffyn Gilligan most recently played Max in Taylor Mac’s new American comedy ‘Hir’ directed by Nadia Fall. The cast also starred Doctor Who’s Arthur Darvill as Isaac, Ashley McGuire & Andy Williams.

Griffyn also recently took part in the research and development workshop of a production entitled Jubilee. This took place at Royal Exchange Theatre, Manchester and was directed by Chris Goode.

Other credits include Ponyboy Curtis (The Yard Theatre), Jaq in Teddy Ferrara (Donmar Warehouse) and Weaklings (Chris Goode & Company).

Cast Announced For EVERYWOMAN at the Bunker

Imy Wyatt Corner today announces Jade Williams will perform Everywoman. The one-woman show, directed by Amelia Sears and written anonymously, opens on 18 February, with previews from 17 February and runs until 22 February.

Upon being discharged from the Marine Corps, Isaac (Arthur Darvill) goes back home only to find an anarchically ruled household at hand of his mother (Ashley McGuire). Fed up with domestic patriarchy, Paige seized the opportunity given by her abusive husband Arthur (Andy Williams) having a stroke to turn the tables and start making the rules. She built an ally in her transsexual son Max (Griffyn Gilligan), who helps her to keep tight hold on the reins. Isaac is forced to come to terms with a reality he doesn't recognise as his own.
Bush Theatre Announces Casting for HIR Starring Arthur Darvill

Casting is announced today for the UK premiere of Hir, written by Taylor Mac (24-Decade History of Popular Music) and directed by Nadia Fall (Disgraced). Arthur Darvill (Doctor Who, Broadchurch, Once) will play Isaac, Griffyn Gilligan (Teddy Ferrara) plays younger sibling Max, Ashley McGuire (Shopping and F***ing, The Suicide) will play their mom Paige and Andy Williams (The 39 Steps, War Horse) plays her husband Arnold.
