BWW Review: THE ITALIAN GIRL IN ALGIERS at Winter Opera
There's that initial low, stealthy tip-toeing pizzicato, like a Warner Brothers cat creeping up on a clever mouse. Then an oboe slips in, and other woodwinds, some piccolo. With their second offering of the season the Union Avenue Opera have produced a winning combination of mirth and merriment with their staging of this work.
