One of Sydney's hottest comedy venues, Cafe Lounge Surry Hills, plays host to a brand new Musical Comedy show that has to be seen to be believed. Hosted, played and sung by Sarah Gaul (HOT MESS, TONIGHTLY) and Jacinta Gregory (HOLT! THE MUSICAL), this show is your classic inner-west EP launch - except every single song is totally improvised based on suggestions from the audience.

John Guare's Six Degrees of Separation, directed by Trip Cullman and starring seven-time Emmy Award winner Allison Janney, Tony Award winner John Benjamin Hickey and Tony Award nominee Corey Hawkins, will close on Sunday, June 18, 2017. It will have played 21 previews and 63 regular performances. The production began previews Wednesday, April 5 and opened Tuesday, April 25 at the Barrymore Theatre (243 West 47th Street).

Philadelphia Dance Projects opens its 2014 season by presenting perceiving the 'just this'-ness, a world premiere by New York choreographer Susan Rethorst, whose work has been called "meticulously made, sensually satisfying and thrumming with possibilities" by The New York Times. Produced and performed by Group Motion, Rethorst's piece engages with Artistic Director Manfred Fischbeckand dancers Lindsay Browning, Eleanor Goudie-Averill, Gregory Holt, David Konyk, Lesya Popil and Hedy Wyland. Performances take place January 16 - 19, 2014 at the Arts Bank on South Broad Street.

The 16th annual Philadelphia Live Arts Festival enters its second week with seven Festival openings, including the U.S. premiere production of Montreal-based 7 Fingers' urban circus marvel Sequence 8. Week two also features the world premiere of idiosynCrazy productions' Private Places, by up-and-coming Philadelphia choreographer Jumatatu Poe; local favorite Brian Sanders' JUNK's The Gate Reopened; two New York companies, including Young Jean Lee's Theater Company with UNTITLED FEMINIST SHOW and Elevator Repair Service with Arguendo; Hot Pepper, Air Conditioner, and the Farewell Speech from Japan-based theater troupe chelfitsch; and a one-night-only showing of the documentary film Marina Abramovic: The Artist is Present.
