BIO
Gregory Franklin is a two-time Tony and three-time Drama Desk Nominated Producer and Chief Managing Member of Franklin Theatrical Group including over 20 theatrical, film, television and new media productions. Mr. Franklin is a Stage Scene LA and Ticket Holder Award-winning Actor and Ovation, Garland, and Dramalogue Nominated Actor. He has served Actors Equity on the 99 Seat Committee and as deputy on projects working under 99 Seat, LOA, SPT, HAT, SET and additionally has worked under TYA, CLO and CAT contracts as well as SAG-AFTRA and AGMA. Mr. Franklin is the recipient of the 2011 American Planning Association Award for Citizen Planner in Los Angeles County for his historic preservation work through Preserve Burbank with the City of Burbank, CA. He serves on the board of Waterwell.org as Governance Committee Chairperson.

On Monday, Feb. 12, Waterwell, the theater company founded by Arian Moayed and Tom Ridgely celebrated its 20th Anniversary with a party at Greenpoint Loft featuring cocktails, dinner, a silent and live auction, and performances by past Waterwell artists as well as current students and alums of the Waterwell Drama Program. When I was growing up, I Love Lucy was a morning television staple, even though it had been off the air for many years. If you were lucky enough to be at the Peabody Opera House this weekend (April 17-19, 2015), you had the opportunity to see a recreation of two episodes of this iconic show with their presentation of I LOVE LUCY LIVE ON STAGE. This touring production is one you should definitely check out if you're into nostalgia, or just need a good laugh.
