36th ANNUAL FESTIVAL OF NEW MUSICALS Announces Selectees & Finalists
National Alliance for Musical Theatre has revealed the roster of new musicals for their 36th Annual FESTIVAL OF NEW MUSICALS, which is slated to take place on Thursday, October 24 and Friday, October 25, 2024, at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street, between 8th and 9th Avenues).

MT Shorts, the award-winning creative production company behind 'Hey, Beautiful!' and 'High School Zoomiscal', has announced its next original musical short film, STILL HERE, starring Broadway's Nathaniel Stampley (Paradise Square, The Color Purple), Lana Gordon (Hadestown, CHICAGO) and featuring Nicholas Rodriguez (Company, Tarzan), Lance Roberts (The Music Man, My Fair Lady), Michelle Dawson (Spiderman, Mamma Mia), David Harris (Moulin Rouge, 3x Helpmann Award Nominee), and Natalie Roy (CBS's The Equalizer, Showtimes' The Affair), directed by Kaye Tuckerman (Summer: The Donna Summer Musical, Mamma Mia).

On Monday, April 6th, 2020, at 9:30PM, MT Shorts, the premiere platform for musical short films, will celebrate those that came before them by paying homage to the great movie musicals of the last century. This one-night-only event, at Feinstein's/54 Below, will include a sneak peak preview of MT Shorts' upcoming film 'Still Here' written by Ben Roseberry and Chip Klose and directed by Kaye Tuckerman, featuring a clip from the movie and Roseberry debuting one of the songs live.
