Adams Theater to Present Staged Readings Of New Play THE REFUSENIKS in August

The Adams Theater is bringing staged readings of the new play 'The Refuseniks' to audiences at 7:30 p.m. on Friday August 9 and Saturday August 10, and at noon on Sunday August 11.
Winners Of 2019 Berkshire Theatre Awards Announced

At an SRO ceremony held at Zion Lutheran Church in Pittsfield, the Board of the Berkshire Theatre Critics Association (BTCA) presented the Berkshire Theatre Awards on the evening of Monday, November 11, 2019. This was the fourth year the awards have been presented to honor and celebrate the excellence and diversity of theatre in the greater Berkshire region.

An annual tradition, the Fall Festival is the culmination of the nationally recognized program that places Shakespeare & Company Education Artists in ten local and regional schools, where they lead students in a nine-week exploration of creative thinking, teamwork and Shakespeare.

WAM Theatre's Fresh Takes Reading Series to Continue with THE DROLL

The WAM Theatre 2017 Fresh Takes Play reading series continues with The Droll by Meg Miroshnik at 3:30 pm on Sunday, June 4 at No. Six Depot Roastery and Cafe in West Stockbridge. WAM Artistic Director Kristen van Ginhoven will direct, and acclaimed local professional actor and theatre educator Jennie M. Jadow is co-producing and will be reading one of the roles.

Casting, Dates Set for Shakespeare & Company's 2015 Season; Launches May 22

Shakespeare & Company has finalized casting for its 38th performance season, and released a complete schedule of Opening Night dates. The announcement was made this week by Interim Artistic Directors Ariel Bock and Jonathan Croy, along with a positive report from Interim Managing Director Stephen D. Ball on the Company's box office successes to date. Shakespeare & Company's season opens on May 22 with The How and The Why, by Sarah Treem.
TAM Presents MACBETH This Weekend

William Shakespeare's swift and relentless tragedy, Macbeth, comes to Theater at Monmouth. Filled with ghosts, witches, and dark prophecies, Macbeth will run for one weekend only in Cumston Hall this weekend, October 17-19 before heading out on the road as part of the theatre's Shakespeare in Maine Communities Education Tour.

Filled with ghosts, witches, and dark prophecies, Macbeth will run for one weekend only in Cumston Hall October 17-19 before heading out on the road as part of the theatre's Shakespeare in Maine Communities Education Tour. Macbeth will tour for three weeks to schools and community centers across the state.
