Festival of Arts of Laguna Beach Heats Up Summer with Daily Live Music Performances

In conjunction with the Fine Art Show, the Festival’s summer concert series, sponsored by City of Hope Orange County and Yamaha, promises to strike a chord with audiences with daily live music on the outdoor concert stage. From July 3 to August 30, 2024, the Festival will feature an eclectic mix of genres and extraordinary talent, with popular weekly series returning and two new, special must-see musical performances.

Hollywood Bowl Kicks Off Opening Night of Historic Centennial Season with Grammy Winners

Last night, Friday, June 3rd, Opening Night at the Hollywood Bowl kicked off the iconic venue’s celebration of its first 100 seasons with a lineup of sensational performances featuring Gwen Stefani, LA Phil Music & Artistic Director Gustavo Dudamel and the Los Angeles Philharmonic. The LA Phil opened the evening with the world premiere of Centennial Overture, written by legendary composer John Williams, who made a surprise guest appearance to conduct the work commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Hollywood Bowl.

Nominations for the 2012 FREDDY© Awards were announced yesterday, May 10th, live on 69 WFMZ-TV during the Noon News broadcast. Leading the pack this year are Freedom High School with 17 nominations. Emmaus High School and Parkland High School both scooped 12 nominations. Notre Dame High School is close behind with 11 nominations.
