BIO

Grafton Doyle is an actor, improvise, director, and producer. His theatre credits include Edward in Spiked Heels, Nick in the American Plan, and Beau in the cottage to name a few. His most recent endeavors include playing a lone ranger in Phillip Hartmann's new Sci-Fi western film Tug of War, playing Gordy's Dad on Walk the Prank for Disney Channel as well as many other projects.

Grafton Doyle has produced and directed many shows across San Francisco and Los Angeles and is also the Co-Founder and CEO of Pop Up Theatre LA. Pop-Up Theatre LA was formed when Grafton Doyle and a fellow group of thespians realized that there was a need for more unconventional theatre in LA to get attention. Pop Up-Theatre LA combines the intimacy of film with the power of live performance.

Grafton Doyle, Daniel Korth, and Shoshanna Chagall realized the enormous opportunity they had to create this intimate theatre experience. It can literally 'pop-up' anywhere in town from private parties to company events. You can pick from a variety of plays in the repertoire and the team will bring the performance to life in a setting of your choosing. Their most recent performances have been at The Beverly Hills Hotel, The Purple Room, and The Palm Springs Art Museum. They have also performed at private events that helped support The Actor's Fund, The Pilot Light Foundation, and The American Cancer Society.

Being involved in acting and the arts has given Grafton Doyle the 'go getter' and 'can do' attitude that have benefited him well in all of his entrepreneurial pursuits. He has enjoyed learning all of the things that come along with owning your own business and is excited to see where there skills take him in the future.

Grafton Doyle has always been an entertainer. He put on performances for friends, family, and classmates from the time he was young. The theatre has always been his first love.

Grafton Doyle graduated from the Meisner Technique Studio in 2011. He holds a degree in English & Creative Writing and is working towards his masters in cinema at the University of Souther California.

Outside of his professional life he enjoys cooking, entertaining and staying active. When it comes to food Grafton Doyle loves to experiment in the kitchen, cooking modern-day, new american dishes, Thai, Mexican, and Mediterranean food. He is looking forward to launching a new video series where he gives viewers a fun, interactive approach to cooking and hosting.

Grafton Doyle is also an Airbnb host in Los Angeles where he offers acting workshops, networking opportunities, and even the chance to perform in one of his productions.

Review: DOPE QUEENS Asks What it Takes to Make a Chosen Family Home Where None Can Possibly Exist

It's very rare for a play to leave me in tears, the first to stand to applaud a cast during their curtain call. But this was the case when I attended the World Premiere of DOPE QUEENS, brilliantly written and directed by Grafton Doyle at the Hudson Mainstage Theatre, which takes us to real places inhabited by real characters inspired by real people, grappling with hardcore real-life problems tempered by the only practical survival strategies available to them on the gritty streets of the infamous Tenderloin District in San Francisco.

Review: PTERODACTYLS Ponders the Extinction of a Traditional American Family Due to Self-Indulgence

The small dining room at a local studio was an excellent choice to showcase a classic dysfunctional family living an upper-class life as they descended into chaos over the course of one year. With each of the family members in this dark comedy only really thinking of themselves and their own needs, or living their lives to be sure none of their friends can find fault with anything they do, PTERODACTYLS suggests that our extinction is beginning not with an asteroid or an ice age but rather with a severed connection to the ones closest to us.
