Beloved by parents and children alike, the National Theatre has taken on the first major stage adaptation of Noel Streatfeild’s best-selling book Ballet Shoes as their big ticket show this festive season. It is a brave move, as the book is so well known and hasn't been out of print since 1936. However, there's so need to fear, as Kendall Feaver's adaptation is a truly charming and heart-warming family show.
Netflix's 13 REASONS WHY Partners With Scholly On Scholarship Fund For Graduating Class Of 2020
To celebrate its final season and the graduating high school Class of 2020, the Netflix series 13 Reasons Why has partnered with the scholarship app Scholly to give away $50,000 in college scholarships. In a two-step qualifying process, which includes an essay writing component, high school seniors will compete to receive one of 10 $5,000 scholarships to be used at any college or university.

The Donmar Warehouse presents an arresting new stage adaptation of Muriel Spark's iconic novel The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie by Scottish playwright David Harrower, in the 100th anniversary year of Muriel Spark's birth. The production will star Lia Williams in the title role, with rising talent Rona Morison, alongside a cast including Nicola Coughlan, Emma Hindle, Edward Mackliam, Grace Saif, Sylvestra Le Touzel, Helena Wilson, Angus Wright and Kit Young. The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie will be directed by Polly Findlay, who returns to the Donmar following her acclaimed production of Limehouse.

SAINT GEORGE AND THE DRAGON Starts Tonight at the National Theatre
Saint George and the Dragon, a new play by Rory Mullarkey, will be directed by Lyndsey Turner. The show runs in previews from tonight 4 October, with press night 11 October, and continues in the repertoire until 2 December 2017 at the National Theatre.
