The theatre has been around for three years already, and has had some incredible talent treading the boards. In December 2019, owner Sue Diepeveen undertook a big move and has relocated her theatre to a bigger building just around the corner.

OLD TOWN BAND Comes to The Drama Factory

Old Town is Grace Newton on lead vocals, Jonathan Tait (Hatchetman) on guitar and backing vocals, Wouter Reyneke (Radio Kalahari Orkes) on bass, Carly Nauta on violin, Christoph De Chavonnes Vrugt (Crimson House) on drums and Arno van Zyl (Crimson House) on banjo. Mainly drawing influence from old time traditional country western and bluegrass music, the band delivers their own fast paced and modern reading of the genre. Their first single, White & Black, was recorded early in 2018 which laid the groundwork for their forthcoming full-length album release.

DirecTV, in association with Entertainment One (eOne) and Greenroom Entertainment, announced today that on August 22 production will commence in Vancouver on 10 episodes of the suspense-drama ROGUE, starring Thandie Newton (Mission Impossible 2, Crash) and Marton Csokas (The Debt, Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring).
