Neil Simon's LAST OF THE RED HOT LOVERS Announced At Walnut Street Theatre
Walnut Street Theatre (WST) continues its 214th season with a comedic romantic romp in Neil Simon's Last of the Red Hot Lovers. Written by the legendary Neil Simon (who received his start at the Walnut with the 1961 premiere of “Come Blow Your Horn”), the production begins previews January 10, opens January 18, and continues through February 5, 2023, on the Walnut's Mainstage.

1812 Productions will present the Philadelphia Premiere of Jen Silverman's acclaimed dark comedy The Roommate. Directed by Harriet Power, The Roommate stars renowned Philadelphia performers Grace Gonglewski and Jennifer Childs. Longtime friends and artistic collaborators, Gonglewski and Childs have been fixtures on Philadelphia stages for over 20 years, The Roommate will be their first appearance onstage together since 2006. The Roommate will play September 26 thru October 20, 2019. Opening Night will be Wednesday, October 2nd at 7:00pm. Tickets and information are available at www.1812productions.org or at 215-592-9560.

Arden Theatre Company opens its 29th season with Aaron Posner's STUPID f**kING BIRD, 'sort of' adapted from Anton Checkov's The Seagull. Posner, an Arden co-founder and former Artistic Director who has directed nearly 40 productions for the company, also directs his show for the first time. STUPID f**kING BIRD runs September 15 through October 16, 2016, on the F. Otto Haas Stage at 40 N. 2nd Street in Philadelphia.
