Casts and Directors Announced For Theatre Odyssey's 2018 Ten-Minute Play Festival

Theatre Odyssey announced the casts and directors for the thirteenth annual Ten-Minute Play Festival being held May 3-6 at the Cook Theatre (Asolo/FSU Center for the Performing Arts). For tickets, click here.
Apothetae Theater's THE PENALTY Premieres at Dixon Place Tonight

Dixon Place and The Apothetae Theater present the world premiere musical of Clay McLeod Chapman's The Penalty for 6 weekend performances only beginning tonight, June 14 at 7:30. With music by Nature City of Oklahoma's Robert M. Johanson (Life and Times) and direction by Kris Thor (Blackout, Diving Normal), this production brings together a dream team of rising talent currently experiencing significant milestones in their respective careers. The Penalty is also the debut production of The Apothetae theater, a New York based company founded by and for actors and theater professionals with physical disabilities.

The Kennedy Center hosts its 11th annual Page-to-Stage new play festival from today, September 1, 2012 to Monday, September 3, 2012, featuring more than 40 theaters from the D.C. metropolitan area, all with a mission to produce and support new work. The three-day, Center-wide event offers a series of free readings and open rehearsals of plays and musicals being developed by local, regional, and national playwrights, librettists, and composers.
