Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre's Marianna Tcherkassky Will Retire
Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre’s (PBT) long-time rehearsal director, Marianna Tcherkassky, has announced her retirement at the end of the 2022-2023 season. Tcherkassky has been a rehearsal director at PBT for 26 years. Prior to PBT, Tcherkassky danced with American Ballet Theatre (ABT) for 26 years, 20 of which as a principal dancer.

Mauro Bigonzetti signs the choreographies of this double step which sees the dancers Camilla Colella and Octavio de la Roza as protagonists, who also signs the original music; the lights are by Carlo Cerri , the costumes by Silvia Califano .
Greta Hodgkinson To Retire As Principal Dancer At National Ballet of Canada
Karen Kain, Artistic Director of The National Ballet of Canada, today announced that Greta Hodgkinson will retire as Principal Dancer in 2020 after a remarkable career that spans 30 years. Ms. Hodgkinson will dance the title role in Giselle and appear in Petite Mort in November as well as The Nutcracker in December. Her final performance as Principal Dancer will be the seminal role of Marguerite in Frederick Ashton's Marguerite and Armand, acquired in her honour by Ms. Kain and the National Ballet, which makes its company premiere during the Winter Season February 29 a?"
