The Worst Person I Know, the debut play from South Asian-Irish playwright Cameron Tharma premieres at New York Theater Festival this week. The play focuses on the, seemingly unrelated, stories of three strangers as they recall memories of the relationships that changed each of their lives forever.

It's certainly a relevant piece for our time, and I applaud the intention of bringing it to life in this era of political debate and mistrust of the media. But if you're going to dig this one up then have the nerve to make it feel dangerously close to the outside world.
