The Everyman Launches A Stellar Summer Season
The Everyman has announced its summer 2023 programme. The season's highlight will be The Everyman's production of The Glass Menagerie by Tennessee Williams which runs from Wednesday, Augiust 2nd to Saturday, August 26th. It will be directed by Emma Jordan, director of the acclaimed production of Enda Walsh's The New Electric Ballroom (The Gate Theatre) which toured to the theatre earlier this year.
The Everyman Launches Spring Season This Week
The Everyman has launched its spring season, starring renowned writers, award-winning shows, and fan favourites. The featured production sees Reggie from the Blackrock Road return to The Everyman stage with a 12-performance run of his new show, Reggie's Guide to Social Climbing. Produced by The Everyman, this world premiere sees the millionaire acting as mentor to Ireland's nouveau riche, providing guidance on how to eat, drink, flirt, and behave like a member of Cork's One Per Cent.
Gina Moxley's THE PATIENT GLORIA Comes to St. Ann's Warehouse This Month
St. Ann's Warehouse, in association with Gina Moxley and Pan Pan, presents the American premiere of Moxley's award-winning, punk-propelled satire The Patient Gloria, directed by John McIlduff, November 16–December 4. Created at the height of #MeToo protest and empowerment, Moxley's production comes to the U.S. in a moment of grave peril for women's rights.
Abbey Theatre's DEAR IRELAND Premieres Live Online
Over four nights (28 April - 1 May), audiences throughout Ireland and across the globe can watch the world premiere of Dear Ireland a?" a historic digital theatre project that brings together 50 brand new monologues, commissioned by the Abbey Theatre as a rapid response to the COVID-19 crisis. Each piece of work was written and created in self isolation by 100 participating artists.
