Review: THE KITE RUNNER Presented By Broadway In Chicago
Fans of the novel may be enthralled at seeing the characters and events of THE KITE RUNNER brought to life before their eyes, largely through moving performances and clever stagecraft. But this dramatization feels unsatisfying, an adaptation that ultimately fails to convince audiences that it is necessary much less an improvement on the original.

THE KITE RUNNER, a play with music based on Khaled Hosseini's internationally best-selling novel, will play at Overture Center's Capitol Theater from Friday, May 24 to Sunday, May 26 for five performances.
THE KITE RUNNER Will Launch North American Tour in 2024
Dramatic Publishing has licensed the Broadway production of The Kite Runner, and a North American tour is being planned for 2024. Tour cities, dates and casting will be announced. The Kite Runner will have played 17 previews and 117 regular performances on Broadway.
