The Chocolate Factory Theater Announces Its 2023/2024 Season
The Chocolate Factory Theater has announced its 19th season of performances - the third at its new permanent facility - featuring 12 Commissioned Premieres, 1 Supported Creative Residency (with several others TBA), new work by The Chocolate Factory's Co-Founder / Artistic Director, and partnerships with Abrons Arts Center, Portland Institute for Contemporary Art, On the Boards, Villa Albertine, and EMPAC.

Over 800 artists and supporters of the New York dance community had gathered to celebrate the nominees, winners, and The Bessies' 35th anniversary gala event on Monday, October 14. Obie and Bessie Award-winning performance artist Justin Vivian Bond hosted this year's ceremony, which was held at NYU's Skirball Center for the Performing Arts.
THE TALMUD Comes To THE DOXSEE @ Target Margin Theater

THE TALMUD will play a three-week limited engagement at THE DOXSEE @ Target Margin Theater (232 52nd Street, Sunset Park, Brooklyn). Gabrielle Hamilton, Tiler Peck & More Nominated For 2019 Bessie Awards
The NY Dance and Performance Awards, The Bessies, New York City's premier dance awards honoring outstanding creative work in the field, celebrates a landmark 35th anniversary this year. Today, the nominees for the 2019 Bessie Awards, along with the recipients of the 2019 Juried Bessie Award and 2019 Outstanding Breakout Choreographer Award, were announced and celebrated at the Bessies press conference. HOPE Premieres Off-Broadway
The Wild Project hosts the World Premiere of HOPE, written and performed by Hope Salas. Directed by Erika Latta, performances run through October 13 at The Wild Project.
