Gianna Ernst

Gianna is a naturally talented actor, singer, dancer and songwriter with an amazing voice and range. She began her singing and acting career at the age of 6 working in several regional and professional theatrical productions. She said once she stepped on stage she was hooked! Gianna enjoys acting and singing and writing her own music and does so every day. She says singing and acting give her a feeling of joy and freedom. She is truly thankful and blessed that she has this gift and can experience music through her instrument. She also states that when she is acting it feels almost like she is outside her body looking down on someone else performing and delivering the lines. She is blessed with a unique voice and has the control and depth of a seasoned performer. As an actress she has a natural and consistent ability to draw in the audience through her performances.

Some of her favorite roles are as follows: Meet Me in St. Louis (Tootie Smith), A Christmas Carol (Tiny Tim) on the Mainstage at the Walnut Street Theatre, Annie (Molly), Number the Stars (Kirsti), Les Miserables (Young Cosette), Fiddler on the Roof (Bielke), A Christmas Carol (Belinda Cratchit) on the Mainstage at the Walnut Street Theatre and the Sound of Music(Marta Von Trapp).

Gianna has a natural ability to light up the room when she enters and once she begins entertaining she quickly puts a smile on the faces of onlookers. As Gianna always says, “Wow this acting stuff is a lot of fun!"
