Gian Marco Schiaretti was born in Parma (Italy).
At 17, he played Mercutio in the Popular Opera "Giulietta e Romeo" written by Riccardo Cocciante, on tour throughout Italy and 10 times at the Arena of Verona.
In 2011, he accompanied Maestro Cocciante in the "Cocciante canta Cocciante" concerts performed in Verona, Rome, Taormina, Geneva and Shanghai (on the occasion of the Universal Expo).
In 2013, Disney Broadway and Stage Entertainment chose him to play Tarzan in the eponymous musical with melodies by Phil Collins, between Hamburg (Neue Flora) and Stuttgart (Apollo Theater). Gian Marco will hold the role for 3 and a half years (nearly 1000 performances).
In 2016, Gian Marco moved to London where he was selected to play the role of Che in Evita the musical. (A.L. Webber, Regie B. Kenwright and Bob Thomson). The show is performed all over the UK, Germany, Dubai and London (West End). He resumed the same role at the Teatro Regio in Turin, where the show was presented for the first time ever with a Symphony Orchestra in 2018.
In 2017, he participated as a guest in the concert "Magicat the Musical" (Royal Albert Hall).
In August 2018, he played Bernardo in West Side Story at the Royal Albert Hall in London during the BBC Proms.
From summer 2019 he played the role of AJ Golden in the first Cirque du Soleil musical “Paramour“ in Hamburg (Stage Entertainment Production).
At the same time, Gian Marco interprets the role of Phoebus during the international tour of Notre Dame de Paris.
From 2021, Gian Marco embodies the title role in the international musical “Don Juan,” written by Félix Gray and directed by Gilles Maheu.
In 2022 he is Casanova in the show “Casanova Opera Pop” written by Red Canzian on tour in Italy and abroad..
From August 2022 he will be Le Duc de Monroth in “Moulin Rouge Das Musical” (European German Premiere)
